Own a piece of History!

There are few leaders more respected than Archbishop Desmond Tutu.  He has played an enormous role in the right-to-die movement and in South Africa and California in particular.

When Professor Sean Davison was arrested for assisting his Mum to die, the Arch (as he is lovingly known) wrote to the New Zealand courts requesting that Sean be allowed to await trial in South Africa, which request was granted.  This despite the fact that Sean was charged with murder and that there is no extradition treaty between South Africa and New Zealand.

Upon sentencing, Tutu again wrote to the NZ courts requesting leniency.

In July 2014 Tutu wrote a letter to the world announcing his support of assisted dying.

In October 2015 when signing the End of Life Option Act in California Governor Brown wrote: “”I have also read the letters of those who support the bill, including heartfelt pleas from Brittany Maynard’s family and Archbishop Desmond Tutu.”

In 2016, in an attempt to assist DignitySA to raise funds for their legal disbursements in their upcoming Supreme Court of Appeal case, Tutu signed the cartoon and portrait which were gifted to DignitySA.

As part of our fundraising efforts we are selling framed Limited Edition prints of Dr Jack & Curtis’ iconic cartoon, as well as an original Lioda Conrad oil on canvas, both signed by The Arch himself.
